A peaceful, private residence, That Amazing Place is an exclusive use venue. This means that when you book your wedding with us, our beautiful Manor House which sleeps up to 25 people, treatment rooms, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub are exclusively yours for the day and night of your wedding.

Ok so where do I Start? Martin and I have been together for just over 8 years we met in a London bar.
It truly was love at first sight we moved in together after just 2 weeks much to the surprise of our friends and family!
But time has proven how much in love we are.
We live in Old Harlow Essex with our two Scottie/westie dogs Beckham & Molly our neighbour knew we were looking for a venue for our wedding.
We hadn't heard of That Amazing Place even though it's only a 5 min drive from where we live.
We gave them a call and arranged a viewing, when we arrived we were blown away with how beautiful and intimate the place felt.
Paul and Jane the owners made us feel so welcome we then arranged a meeting with Angie the wedding coordinator who made us feel at ease discussing what we wanted for our special day.
The great thing about That Amazing Place is that everyone is bespoke to you.
We could really do anything we wanted and make the whole day feel very personal.
We chose Magpie Catering as we were completely blown away by their food tasting.
In the evening we decided to do something a little different and instead of the usual buffet we had a 'Bagel Show' where we had hot salt beef platters of smoked salmon and cream cheese with pickled gherkins and kettle chips.
Our guests absolutely loved it and went down really well.
We chose our photographer Nigel Read through recommendation we wanted lots of natural capture the moment shots as well as a few formal shots.
Nigel exceeded our expectations and didn't overtake on the day like some photographs can!!
Our wedding cake was made by Fifis Cakery in Chelmsford Fifi helped us design our cake, our colour scheme was navy and white, we chose a polka dot cake 3 tier with our initials embossed .
It tasted absolutely yummy and there wasn't any left at the end of the day!!!
