Adam & Ben

So planning our big day all started with booking our beautiful venue Pendrell Hall of West Midlands. Which is a lovely country mannor house with a beautiful English Garden so it had that Romantic period type setting (Bridgerton) from Netflix vibes. So as soon as that was set the vision started to merge together.

Now at the time I worked in the wedding industry myself selling bridal gowns and bridesmaids dressess at a store called Davids Bridal. so I already had my heart set on these gorgeous Vera Wang gowns for my Girls to wear so we had them all try them on and with it being a summer wedding we wanted a lighter colour, and blush just felt like the perfect enchanted look that we wanted for the girls.

Next was our suits which I did some research online looking for ideas because I knew I was never going to have a typical "normal" suit and wanted something different and special. So when I came across my Aristocracy Suit online I had to make an appointment to try it on. And seeing it in real life I just fell in love with the feel, textures, colours, tailoring, every element of it really and left the shop with the exact suit I dreamt I would wear.

I also left with the catalogue from the store as my partner Ben hadn't found his suit yet and when flipping through the catalogue we found the perfect matching suit which complemented my suit and fitted in with the theme and tones of the wedding, and Ben had to wait a little bit longer untill he could try his on as It was a brand new suit which hadn't even been made yet so as soon as it arrived from Italy Ben went for his appointment and had the same feels and reaction as I had and left the store with his beautiful suit.

Now that we had our suits and the girls dressess the colour pallet was starting to take shape. So we thought for the groomsmen put them in a dove blue suit to match the dove blue in our suits as we already had the girls in blush pink which tied into the pink in mine and Ben's suit. So we found the lads suits online from ASOS actually, I was a little nervous at first buying offline without trying but we were in lockdown and my options were so slim. But when they arrived in the mail and I layed all the outfits out together well me and Ben were just over the moon with how perfect everything was coming together.

And seeing the wedding party clothes next to our suits made us love our suits even more as our suits felt like a perfect fusion of the girls dressess and the lads suits

Flowers: so I adore flowers and alot of femine details so I knew it was going to be a floral heavy wedding and our venue helped us find our florist as our venue was in a little village and we went to the local florist in that village and booked them right away helping out the local community was something we both wanted to do. So we booked a colour match day with our wonderful florists at (the flowershop codsall) and we took some of the wedding outfits with us so we could pick the perfect flowers and colours that would match and complement the outfits, colour theme, venue and the decor as best we could and the flower shop codsall got it spot on.

Our wedding was taking shape and we had ticked allot of the big purchases off out list.

The cakes, DJ and photographer were local recommendations from our friends and family and we trusted there opinions and it felt nice having someone who our family and friends knew and trusted help out with our wedding and it was a little more cost efficient I would say from looking at quotes from various websites.
The Dj was with (Chance entertainments) and our wedding photographer was (Danielle victoria)
And from getting our wedding photos back we are simply in love. The most perfect photographer for our most special day.

Now the venue itself had lots of beautiful features that added to the overall theme to the wedding such as dove blue walls dark furnishings, lights which you could change colour to suit your own individual theme. So we only needed to add some more little add ons, and I'm quite a crafty person so we ordered alot of second hand items and personalised them ourselves and made them look brand new. It was such a cost effective way of doing it and I also had alot of fun. From making the seating plan mirror and the just married postbox to dressing the dinning room chairs ect ect. Obviously when decorating these items the theme and colour being the main focus point making sure the whole day was cohesive.

The Big day just went so smoothly and it was literally the best day of our lives. It was theblast day of summer we had gorgeous weather 21 degrees. Sun was shinning we got the outdoor bandstand ceremony that we wanted the guests got to enjoy all the grounds that Pendrell Hall has to offer aswell as the Romantic Gains oak Tree swing. A lot of guest are performers as thats the profession me and my partner have so there was never a dull moment there was singing and dancing and me and Ben would just recieve the greatest of welcomes when ever we walked into a room.

The food supplies were Jenkinsons Caterers there apart of the booking of the Venue and they did a fantastic job we did a 3 course sit down meal and everyone enjoyed there selection off the menu that they picked in advance, such beautiful presented, nice sized portions. Just brilliant. And then the dance floor was never empty we danced the hole night through, even had a little Kareoke supplied from the DJ.

It was just the most Perfect beautiful day that we will cherish forever.
