Natalie and Fiona
Natalie and Fiona - here is our story:
We met when I was 21 and Fiona was 20, it was an instant attraction but it wasn't the right timing as Fiona was still too wild and not looking for a relationship. We became good friends and stayed that way for 5 years, but then I finally took my chance and asked her on a date to which she agreed and as they say the rest is history.
Our relationship quickly progressed and within 4 months we had our fur baby Simba and living together, then just before we got married our family grew with our little addition of Henry the cream retriever. In 2019 Fiona proposed to me while we were on holiday in Tampa Florida on clearwater beach.
I had been to the Manor House on a few occasions and always loved it there, so when we were discussing possible wedding venues it was top of my list and it only took one visit for Fiona (and being told that our boys could come to the venue after we were married for photos) to fall in love with it as much as me. We loved the look and feel of the hotel and the area around it but once we had to postpone our first date due to covid and found out about all the upcoming work being done we were even more excited for our upcoming wedding. When we went back to see the changes, we were blown away and even though it was not finished we could see how amazing it was going to look. the changes to the room and patio area were beautifully done and even Fiona who is hard to please cracked a smile.
The lead-up to the wedding was smooth with Michelle always keeping in contact and handling everything so we didn't have to worry. And a little slip-up by Michelle on our last wedding meeting (to the dismay of my mother and the utter happiness of Fiona) that our boys could walk us down the aisle The day was better than we could have imagined even with Fiona turning up at the last-minute Michelle was amazing and calm which in turn kept everyone relaxed. The whole day from start to finish was perfect and we would happily relive the day over. the staff were so friendly and professional the food was amazing and everyone was up dancing the night away thanks to the amazing DJ. The rooms looked amazing and everyone was saying what a beautiful venue we had picked.
On Christmas eve 2022 we will have been married for six months and it feels like only yesterday that we got married. We are looking forward to our life together happily married. We are so glad that we chose the Manor House as our wedding venue, the whole journey was perfect and so it only feels right to come back for our first anniversary and celebrate with a massage, dip in the pool, walk around the stunning grounds and enjoy the amazing food and drink that we have always enjoyed.
