Love blooms from everywhere regardless of what gender you are, I wanted to enhance it all and design and create a shoot surrounded by love, colours, florals, patterns and textures and I think I got that with the help of a fab wedding stylist Tahnee from Electric Lovers Weddings.
We held our second Styled shoot workshop at Barnett Hill Hotel in Surrey in partnership with G Wedding Directory.
Diversity Wedding Workshops is based on providing a creative diverse shoot using real couples from diverse backgrounds, I want to offer a safe and fun space for couples and suppliers who want to expand their portfolios with diversity and to provide creative content.
We had an amazing wedding photographer, Valentina Val Photography, who led the workshop. The talented photographers who attended the workshop were @emmashaw_photography_ , @danielmicephoto, @jemimajewellphotography, @lysaclare, who all captured the chemistry of Marly(He/Him) & Clara (She/Her). The amazing suppliers really created awesome products for the shoot, Amy Verse Weddings illustrated some beautiful calligraphy on the wedding stationery and the resin discs that were made by Kath from Internal colour which incorporated dried petals.
The top table:
The floral explosion then carried on the gorgeous table cloth supplied by The Boho Shack which of course complemented and worked well with the phenomenal florals by Bud and Flower who were assisted by Brambles and Twine. The table settings were gold rim chargers, black and gold cutlery, gold rimmed flutes with a purple goblet from The Black Saucer Tableware, the chairs and lamps bought more texture and colour to the shoot, which GBJ Event Hire selected and bought a maximalism feel to it - which bought mine and Tahnees vision to life. The stunning cake and desserts had been designed around Clara's Dress from the talented Wendy at the Blue Box cake Company.
The couple
Marley & Clara had the most amazing connection, their love for each other shon, we all felt the chemistry. Clara wore the most stunning dress called Rose that was supplied to us from Bridal Indulgence and designed by Atelier Edwin Oudshoorn Bridal, a Netherland designer. Clara had a soft natural glow for her make up which was done by Sophie Falinsku Makeup and the Hollywood wave was done by the talented and fab Occasion Hair by Megan.
We dressed Marley in something more fun and that represented him. The forest green trousers brought out the leaves from Claras dress and adding the most beautiful unique floral collar to his plain white top really added that wedding feel without being formal.
We will be holding 2 to 3 workshops a year, at the beginning and the end of the year. The next one will be in London, so if you are interested please feel free to contact Tania from Hire Societies info@hiresocieties.co.uk
