Howsham Hall A Styled Shoot

A bright, colourful, and stylish shoot took place at the enchanting Howsham Hall.

Howsham Hall, an exclusive-use estate, is set just a 20-minute drive from the historic city of York in North Yorkshire. With a selection of stunning and individually designed bedrooms, coming for a wedding weekend or staycation, with relaxed luxury, is what Howsham Hall is famous for!

Welcoming guests to enjoy a wedding retreat, well, who wouldn’t want to be royalty at their own wedding reception?

The venue is steeped in history but has a modern flare! A chic and stylish interior is a real surprise when setting into the majestic country manor house. With a capacity for up to 160 guests across various reception rooms, Howsham Hall can suit small and intimate elopements, up to a grander affair.

The gardens and grounds are as far as the eye can see, with a riverside terrace for guests to mingle with drinks while watching the sunset. Not forgetting the dramatic honeymoon suite, which provided the perfect backdrop for our couple to get ready for their big day! From dressing platforms to the lounge area, the suite is one of the largest in Europe!

The shoot was inspired by the up-and-coming spring wedding season. Bright and bold colours were the brief, with the added flare of the stunning ruffled dress by @millia.london. Expertly captured by @gabrielasphotographyandfilm and @martinwan.films with the vision of Jen from @myprettiesuk, the team collaborated to bring this elegant but vibrant shoot to life.

Fresh and fun florals bounced the inspirational colours around the room, expertly created by @the_petal_studio. A trend-setting block colour wedding cake, added a touch of traditional, crafted lovingly by the ever so-talented @wheretheribbonends. The stationary enhanced the look like a dream, by @graystarlingdesigns.

Elegant silk back hair with a contrast of soft waves by Hairstylist @bridalhairbyjameswilson and a fresh look by MUA @_ehbridalmakeup, finished the styling off to perfection.
